Your training data is yours. I don't sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build products for anyone else. You can export all of it at any time, and you can ask me to delete it.

What I collect
Information you give me to create an account: your email address, and a password stored only as a cryptographic hash — I never see or store your actual password.
Training information you enter: this is the whole point of the app, and it may include:
- workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, loads and rest
- workout templates, programs and weekly splits
- personal records and training history
- body weight and body-measurement logs
- body-composition entries such as lean mass and FFMI inputs
- nutrition entries, macros and saved foods
- recovery inputs such as sleep and soreness ratings
- cardio and stretching logs
- custom exercises you create
- if you use the trainer features: coaching relationships, assigned programs and coaching notes
Basic technical information needed to run the service, such as request logs and error reports.
What I do not collect
- I don't connect to wearables, Apple Health, Google Fit, or any health platform unless you explicitly connect one in a future version.
- I don't track your location.
- I don't run advertising, ad networks, or third-party ad trackers.
- I don't buy data about you from anyone.
- During beta, I don't collect payment information at all.
Why I use it
Only to run the app for you: storing your history, calculating your progression and readiness, showing your trends, letting you sign in, and sending you service email about your account or the beta. That's the complete list.
Who else touches it
I use a small number of service providers to actually run the thing. They process data on my instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Cloud hosting and database — stores your account and training records.
- Resend — delivers transactional email such as sign-in and account messages.
- Google Workspace — handles email you send to me directly.
I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. I would only disclose data if I were legally required to, or if you asked me to.
Your data, your copy
Forge has a built-in export. You can download a complete JSON file of your training records at any time, keep it, and re-import it later. You don't need my permission and you don't need to ask.
You can also ask me to permanently delete your account and its data by emailing ross@trainwithtelemetry.com. I'll confirm when it's done.
How it's protected
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and account records are scoped so one account cannot read another's data. No system is perfectly secure, and I won't pretend otherwise — but I don't store what I don't need, and I don't share what I don't have to.
How long it's kept
Your records stay until you delete them or ask me to delete your account. Backups may persist for a short period after deletion before they roll off.
Forge is in beta. During this period the app is under active rebuilding, and data may be migrated between versions. I keep backups of beta accounts specifically so history isn't lost in that process. Export your own copy anyway — it's one tap, and it's the only copy fully under your control.
Not medical advice
Forge is a training and tracking tool. Readiness scores, FFMI figures, progression suggestions and every other number in the app are informational only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing a training or nutrition program, and especially if you have a medical condition or injury.
Age
Forge isn't intended for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, email me and I'll remove it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me to show you what I hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. Email ross@trainwithtelemetry.com. There's no form and no ticket queue — it reaches me directly.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, I'll update the effective date above and tell beta users by email rather than quietly editing the page.
